One of the main highlights of Thorong La Pass trek is that it takes you past the world’s deepest gorge – the Kali Gandaki gorge. Also the highest pass in the world – Thorang La at an elevation of 5,416 m. The trek follows the trail through the remote and beautiful valley of Manang village and then to the spiritual place of Muktinath temple .
We will visit the local traditional Gurung, Manang villages through the contemplated route. After a visit to the famous Thakali and Manang village of Manang, Jomsom, and Marpha, we will finally reach the high pass at Thorang la at 5,416 meters / 17,700 ft.

Day 1: Besisahar to Bhulbhule (840m / 2,756ft)
- Drive from Kathmandu to Besisahar and then to Bhulbhule.
- Begin trekking through terraced fields and traditional villages.
Day 2: Bhulbhule to Jagat (1,300m / 4,265ft)
- Trek through lush forests and charming villages.
- Cross the Marsyangdi River several times via suspension bridges.
Day 3: Jagat to Dharapani (1,960m / 6,430ft)
- Continue trekking through beautiful landscapes.
- Encounter the first views of the Annapurna and Manaslu ranges.
Day 4: Dharapani to Chame (2,710m / 8,891ft)
- Trek through pine forests and several villages.
- Reach the district headquarters of Manang, Chame.
Day 5: Chame to Pisang (3,300m / 10,827ft)
- Walk through dense forests and apple orchards.
- Enjoy views of Annapurna II and Pisang Peak.
Day 6: Pisang to Manang (3,540m / 11,614ft)
- Choose between the Upper Pisang route for better acclimatization.
- Enter the dry, arid region of Manang.
Day 7: Acclimatization Day in Manang rest day
- Explore Manang village.
- Optionally, take a short hike to Gangapurna Lake or visit a local monastery.
Day 8: Manang to Yak Kharka (4,018m / 13,182ft)
- Ascend gradually through alpine landscapes.
- Enter the barren terrain with stunning views of peaks.
Day 9: Yak Kharka to Thorong Phedi (4,450m / 14,599ft)
- Trek to Thorong Phedi at the base of Thorong La Pass.
- Prepare for the challenging pass crossing the next day.
Day 10: Thorong Phedi to Muktinath (3,800m / 12,467ft) via Thorong La Pass (5,416m / 17,769ft)
- Early morning ascent to Thorong La Pass.
- Descend to Muktinath, a sacred pilgrimage site.
Day 11: Muktinath to Pokhara by Jeep
